Kazuki Yamada's successful Australian debut

Kazuki Yamada made his Australian debut with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra in Perth in March 2016. He conducts a programme of Paganini and Saint-Saens, as well as the world premiere of Debussy arr. Colin Matthews Les Collines d'Anacapri & La Cathedrale engloutie.

Will Yeoman reviewed the concert in the Limelight magazine on 16 March 2016, and said 'The "serious" core of the concert came in the second half with the Saint-Saens and a real tribute to the clarity of Yamada's vision and to WASO's ability to translate that vision so palpably into a gripping performance.'
